Why Facebook Ads Are Great

Facebook adverts are slowly being appreciated for what they are – a cheap and effective way to target advertise to your desired audience. Below are a few reasons why you should consider using the social platform.

  • Your adverts can reach as many people or more people as radio or TV, and in whatever country you want.
  • Facebook adverts have sophisticated targeting like AdWords, albeit on a different criteria.
  • The minimum spend starts at £1 per day.
  • They are the lowest cost per 1,000 impressions ad in history. They average around £0.25 per 1,000, which is only 1% of the cost of TV.

The Benefits of An Advertising Agency

Staffed by skilled copywriters and art directors, creative agencies can handle everything from setting up a brand to managing all of your ongoing campaigns. From sole traders and small local companies to multinational corporations, professional advertising is the best way to make sure you stand out and to attract the right sort of customers. Without advertising, your competitors are likely to take your share of the market and you’ll find that your business struggles to get noticed.

Marketing techniques have changed a lot in recent years to address the growing number of mobile and online clients, and you might find yourself needing to revisit your advertising methods and come up with a whole new strategy. That’s where an agency can support you. You simply let them know what you’re looking for, and they’ll work to put everything together. From TV and radio commercials to websites and sponsored adverts, there’s lots of ways to reach out to customers. The writers and artists at the agency will work together to create a great sales campaign that suits you.

Costly but if you need to create a niche and have a decent budget, then this maybe the way forward for you.

Twitter Polls are now Live!

If you’re an avid Twitter user, we may have some interesting news for you…

You may have been scrolling on your Twitter timeline recently and noticed users posting polls, wondering how they actually did that. Don’t worry, we thought the same for a while! After a little research using our favourite search engine (you all know which one we’re talking about), we’ve found that it’s a new feature the social media giants are rolling out for users, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you will do so soon.

Previously, we’ve offered a few different ways to participate in polls — Tweeting questions and tracking replies, tallying hashtag votes, or asking followers to favorite or Retweet to vote. Now, you’ll be able to create your own two-choice poll right from the compose box and it will remain live for 24 hours. You can vote on any poll, and how you voted is not shared publicly. Direct Message Limit on Twitter Has Gone!

If you use Twitter, you would have noticed how you’re usually restricted with the amount of characters you can send in a private message to another user. The social media giants have taken notice on how annoyed users are when they have to send 8 messages in a row, to get their point across to their followers in a message and have taken away the character limit!

If you’ve checked your Direct Messages today, you may have noticed that something’s missing: the limitation of 140 characters. You can now chat on (and on) in a single Direct Message, and likely still have some characters left over.

While Twitter is largely a public experience, Direct Messages let you have private conversations about the memes, news, movements, and events that unfold on Twitter. Each of the hundreds of millions of Tweets sent across Twitter every day is an opportunity for you to spark a conversation about what’s happening in your world. That’s why we’ve made a number of changes to Direct Messages over the last few months. Today’s change is another big step towards making the private side of Twitter even more powerful and fun. Why Direct Marketing Could Be Great For Your Business

Loads of different businesses can benefit hugely by trialling a direct marketing campaign. This area of marketing could be brilliant in a lot of different areas, including direct mail and direct calling. Actively marketing to your customers is a great technique, and even if your business isn’t very big it still can work well.

Take a small services business like contractors, they don’t really have the resources to do a massive marketing campaign, and even if they did, then it probably wouldn’t go anywhere. Due to the nature of their business, they need to have a marketing strategy which seeks to develop business in their local area. This situation is exactly where a direct mail campaign would be ideal. This allows you to spend your money by targeting your local area exclusively, allowing you to ensure that your money is being spent wisely.
